Nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA) is a technique for measuring particle size, distribution, and count based on light scattering and Brownian motion. Fluorescence-NTA is a subset of NTA measurements where particle size, distribution and count of fluorescently labelled particles are measured. This technique enables the characterization and the identification of a subset of particles (speciation/phenotyping) unlocking their potential for diagnostic and therapeutic applications.

Who should attend?

  • This presentation is intended for scientists working with fluorescently labelled particles, particularly extracellular vesicles (EVs), lipidic particles and viral vectors for diagnostics and drug delivery applications.
  • Research scientists in the field of flow cytometry and fluorescence optical microscopy techniques.

What will you learn?

  • This webinar highlights fluorescence NTA measurement.
  • We will discuss what fluorescence NTA is and how to optimize it for different types of nanoparticles such as EVs, lipidic particles and viral vectors.
  • We will provide specific fluorescence NTA applications and examples of labelling protocols for EVs and Lipidic particles.

Characterizing Exosomes And Nanoparticles Webinar Series

In this three-part webinar series, we will explore several areas in the characterization of exosomes and other biologically-sourced nanoparticles, including an overview of techniques commonly used to characterize biologically sourced nanoparticles, with a special focus on nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA). In addition, we will discuss, in-depth, the best practices to obtain quality NTA data, and how to optimize fluorescence NTA measurements.
