Particle size has been recognized as a key parameter in the development and manufacture of a wide range of pharmaceutical materials. Sometimes, however, size analysis is just not enough to provide the answer to a specific application issue. This presentation describes the advantages of investigating not only the size but also the shape and chemical signature of various products and formulations. The talk is application based, which means that it doesn't focus on how and what we can measure, but instead on how we can use the information on shape and chemistry to directly influence product performance.
