Fusion monitor

Quick and error-free proactive monitoring for your fusion instruments

XRF laboratories must assure the quality of their analytical results and ensure accurate and precise data by using quality control sample regularly.

Obtaining the wrong analytical results can affect manufacturing and commercial decisions which can be very costly. Moreover, the Fusion-XRF process remains offline until the source of the variability is thoroughly identified and eliminated. When the analytical results are found to be outside the predefined criteria, planned actions must be taken. Determination of composition and thickness of coatings and multi-layers

The Stratos software module features an algorithm which enables simultaneous determination of chemical composition and thickness of layered materials from measurements taken. The software provides a rapid, simple and non-destructive means of analyzing coatings, surface layers and multi-layered structures. The Virtual Analyst provides intelligence during the setup of measurement programs for complicated stacks. 


Available for both the Epsilon 4 EDXRF and Zetium XRF spectrometers, Stratos delivers fast and reliable results regardless of sample type or matrix.

Pro-Trace

Reliable trace element analysis

The importance of reliable trace element analysis in environmental, geological and industrial applications is increasing, particularly in response to stricter worldwide legislation for controlling pollution.

Accurate net intensities are the basis of good quality trace element analyses. Furthermore accurate matrix correction is vital, especially for cases where not all major element data are available.

Pro-Trace is ideal for calculating net intensities in trace element analysis and accurate matrix correction when the total matrix is unknown.

Oil-Trace

Accurate trace element analysis

Oil-Trace is a software package consisting of a suite of standards which enables users to perform accurate and reliable elemental analysis of liquids using WDXRF and EDXRF. Oil-Trace solves two problems when analyzing liquids:

1) Adequate matrix correction in the presence of an unknown mix of CHON elements

2) Correcting for errors due to variations in the volume of the sample being analyzed
