Powering the next generation of XRD research
Nothing stands still here at Malvern Panalytical. Just like the Christmas elves, our designers, engineers and scientists like nothing more than to work away on a new toy. They are always very critical of their previous invention and always keen to innovate and move forwards towards the next generation of system.
At Malvern Panalytical we take pride in our high initial investment in platform technology. What we mean by that is that we build robust systems that inherently are designed with the capacity to cater for change and expansion.
Right back at the conception of Aeris, we wanted the capabilities of a floor-standing system in a modern compact unit. Despite its compact appearance, the design of our Aeris system incorporates interior space and the utmost safety. With a robust and rigorously radiation safe interior, there is room for full-sized optical components and a full 2-axis goniometer. But this is actually no toy. It is a full X-ray diffractometer (XRD) with the capability to evolve with new optics and features. Such flexibility was envisioned by our designers from the beginning, when they insisted on a design based on full-sized regular sample stage and prefix optical mounting. All of which enables a plug and play approach for the next generation of the system.
After 4 very successful years, we are now in a position to launch the next generation of Aeris.
On February 23rd, 2021 we will be unveiling the next version of Aeris: Powering the next generation of XRD.
