Not one, but TWO shortlists!

We are delighted to share, in a year of tough competition, we have been shortlisted for two awards in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce awards 2021. Being recognized for both our Excellence in Innovation and Excellence in Customer service is true testament our teams ongoing hard work and our customer centric development strategy. We can’t wait until the Awards Ceremony in September – fingers crossed!

A little more about our award nominations…

Excellence in Innovation

Since 2018, the launch of the Zetasizer Advance range has lifted the bar for the entire industry by combining dynamic light scattering (DLS) and electrophoretic light scattering (ELS) to measure size and zeta potential of nanoparticles. Its initial launch offered unique updated measurement features, hardware capabilities, and software intelligence that are unmatched in the market.

The measurement technique has supported ground-breaking research within the pharmaceutical industry including use in COVID-19 vaccine development and production, and gene therapy research. Selling into several other markets such as Academia and Advanced materials, the range has now been recognized for its Excellence in Innovation.

Excellence in Customer Service

The foundation of our gold standard customer service is enabled by the excellence of our trained engineers, whilst we aim to grow our offering through self and remote service concepts, predictive maintenance, and digital service models.

Acceleration of out self-installation roll out, enabled our customers to continue their innovation journey during the pandemic whilst they closed their sites to visitors, offering step-by-step installation and training videos with helpdesk colleagues ready to answer any questions.

“The online training modules with troubleshooting and data graph examples are superb. I went from being a complete novice, to being able to describe the theory behind the choices of how we set up our instrument’s SOP.”

An online training program for our engineers was also rolled out to ensure we could continue training internally around the globe, which reached service engineers in sub-Saharan Africa and users at a remote mining installation in Papua New Guinea.

Our recently launched cloud-based system, Smart Manager, utilizes artificial intelligence to provide customers insights to usage, health, and status of instrumentation. Enabling predictive and preventative maintenance whilst avoiding instrument downtime and corrective maintenance.

Our people are the heart of our business at Malvern Panalytical and we are so proud of them for seamlessly adjusting over the last year to ensure our customer care has not been compromised.
