Coming up in May:
10th – Forensic soil analysis explained
Dr Brooke Kamrath (University of New Haven) will explore the relevance of soil analysis in forensic science. The presentation will include a live demonstration of the Morphologi software, using a simple example to compare soils collected from different Malvern sites around the world.
12th – Manufacturing and characterizing spray dried products: Part 1 – An introduction to spray drying
In Part 1 of this two part webinar series Preci, Hayato Kato, CEO (Preci) a manufacturer of spray drying equipment, will give an overview of the basics of spray drying and its applications.
17th – Characterizing Nasal Spray Suspensions for Regulatory and Scientific Purposes
Dr Jag Shur, Managing Director (Nanopharm Ltd) will explore the requirements for Demonstrating bioequivalence and the application of in vitro techniques for API and formulation characteristics. A systematic approach for measuring and assessing the API particle size changes within the formulation will be discussed, alongside the link these measurements have to API solubility and bioavailability.
19th – Nanobubbles: What are they, what are their uses and how can I measure them?
Steve Ward-Smith and Maurice Wedd will outline the many different industries that ultrafine and fine bubbles are used in, how they are characterized and also cover the international standardisation that is currently underway. It is intended to serve as a good introduction to the sector for those people new to the area.
24th – Case study: Using NTA to study nanoparticle diffusion
Steve Ward-Smith and Maurice Wedd will will outline the many different industries that ultra-fine and fine bubbles are used in, how they are characterized and also cover the international standardisation that is currently underway. It is intended to serve as a good introduction to the sector for those people new to the area.
31st – Silicone oil-induced protein aggregation and immunogenicity
John F. Carpenter will explain that prefilled syringes are often used for packaging and delivery of therapeutic proteins. But the silicone oil lubricant can cause protein aggregation and promote adverse immunogenicity. In this presentation, data on these two topics will be summarized.
