Here, we talked about the most recent developments in light scattering analysis and related techniques for the characterization of proteins and formulations.  Focusing on specific examples, we showed you how chromatography coupled light scattering could be used to confirm oligomeric states, obtain structural information and investigate conformation changes.  If your interest was in formulation development, we also included examples of how stability predictors, such as the second virial coefficient, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) interaction parameter and aggregation point, could be used to optimize protein formulations.
