Round the world in webinars

Although this is my first time on the blog, in my role as Malvern’s Marketing Communications Manager for the Americas, mine is probably a familiar name (and face!) to many Malvern customers.  Right now, as I continue to update our 2012 webinar schedule – adding even more offerings to the list – I really appreciate how truly global Malvern has become. The growing number of flags on the online web seminar schedule are varied enough to make the page more colourful than ever before.

More than 70 webinars on offer

With more than 70 English language webinars scheduled for 2012, plus many presented in multiple languages, Malvern Instruments continues its commitment to the company’s firmly established cultural premise that knowledge sharing has great benefits for all concerned.

As well as English, there are presentations in Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, French and German. And a wide variety of webinars designed especially for those working in materials characterization in Asia. We also cater for multiple time zones.

And your host is…

Webinars cover a wide range of material characterization topics and are appropriate to beginners through to experts, and encompassing applications for many different industries. Each one is presented by one or more of Malvern’s dedicated technical experts, or a guest presenter from outside the company, in addition to an online host – Rosie Guise, Linda Bratica or myself.

When not carrying out other marketing duties, as Online Marketing Campaign Manager and Marketing Assistant respectively, both Rosie and Linda work hard hosting live events, and editing and posting recorded webinars onto Malvern’s website.

A great way to meet people who share your focus

While our webinars are generally also freely available as on-demand downloads after the initial presentation, attending a live event provides the opportunity to have questions answered directly and is a great way to meet other application specialists and experts online. The feedback we receive from participants is always highly positive in this regard and increasing audience figures are the reason behind our continued expansion of this service.

From my perspective as a host, it is fun when I’m out on the road or at exhibitions to meet people on who come up to me and say “I know you” – only to find out they “know” me from hosting our webinars.

See you online soon.
