Missed our May webinars? Catch up here…
Hello, once again, I compiled the list of our live webinars that will cover different topics explained by some external presenters. Jonathan Mehtala from Purdue University will explain that Nanoparticle tracking analysis is widely used by viral vaccine and gene therapy.
John Gamble from Bristol-Myers Squibb will go through the different stages of a study using the Morphologi G3-ID in the pharmaceutical industry amongst other exciting subjects cover this month again.
Below is the latest list of our On Demand webinars. Just pick and choose!
May On Demand webinars:
- Forensic soil analysis explained
- Manufacturing and characterizing spray dried products: Part 1 – An introduction to spray drying
- Characterizing Nasal Spray Suspensions for Regulatory and Scientific Purposes
- Nanobubbles: What are they, what are their uses and how can I measure them?
- Case study: Using NTA to study nanoparticle diffusion
- Silicone oil-induced protein aggregation and immunogenicity
Coming up in June:
7th – Adeno-Associated Viral Titer in minutes, using Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA)
Jonathan Mehtala (Purdue University) will explain that Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis is widely used by viral vaccine and gene therapy researchers that are looking to measure the size and concentration of virus particles. He will explore how this solution rapidly cut your analysis time by measuring virus titre in about 5 minutes for viruses above Dh ~35 nm.
16th – Using rheology to understand the structure-processing-property relationships of thermoplastic melts and composites
Chuck Rohn, our Application Specialist will show how to measure and apply rheological material functions which are relevant to polymer fabrication and processing. He will address the four general categories of requirements for manufacturing the thousands of products produced from plastics.
21st – Monitoring the impact of processing on the size and shape of API particles
John Gamble, Principal Scientist at Bristol-Myers SquibbBrooke Kamrath will explain that achieving target characteristics for any API can be demanding, but for materials prone to attrition, keeping those characteristics constant can be a significant challenge. Understand the impact of processing and the importance of accurately measuring the particle size characteristics of a single component within a multi-component sample.
Michael Kaszuba, Technical Support Manager will discuss the use of dynamic light scattering for characterising surfactant micelles. Whether enhancing personal care products or pharmaceutical formulations determining the critical micelle concentration is essential when studying the influence of surfactant concentration and dispersant conditions on micelle size.
Margarida Bastos from Lund University, Sweden will discuss the basics of liposome preparation and the importance of a rigid preparation protocol in drug delivery research. Answer the questions of what information does differential scanning calorimetry provide and why DSC is key for liposome characterization.
