Isranalytica 2013 – Annual Meeting of the Israel Analytical Chemistry Society

I attended the Isranalytica recently which is the major event of the analytical chemistry field in Israel. It brings together scientists from academia, a wide variety of industries and manufacturers of analytical equipment, to provide the participants of Isranalytica a total analytical chemistry platform where scientific information is exchanged and cutting-edge developments are introduced by internationally renowned scientists.

The accompanying exhibition, showcases the latest advances in instrumentation and analytical techniques and is the largest chemistry related exhibition in Israel attracting more than 3000 participants from academia and industry. ISRANALYTICA is the largest chemistry convention in Israel. Moreover, the conference has been recognized as an international event, attracting analytical chemists from all over the world.

This year’s scientific program covered a variety of current topics in analytical chemistry presented by leading researchers in their fields of expertise. The program consisted of several plenary lectures by international renowned scientists, oral presentations (in parallel sessions) from Israel and abroad and a large poster session.

Malvern Instruments showcased several products including the Mastersizer 3000, Zetasizer Micro V and Viscotek GPC systems. In addition, I presented a lecture titled “ Analytical Method Development utilising QbD principles”

Each year, the participants of ISRANALYTICA are asked to vote for the “best supplier award” and we are pleased to announce that Malvern Instruments distributor DR Golik, Scooped the award for the second year running !.
