How will you use your extra space?

Malvern is a serious company, making serious instruments, for serious research & quality control purposes.  However, ever so occasionally we get to do silly things.  And we love it!

One of the great things about the Mastersizer 3000 is that it is so much smaller, so much more streamlined than it’s predecessor – you can reclaim almost half of your bench space if you upgrade from the 2000.

So we thought that we would test out just what you could do with all that extra space. It turns out you can fit in a new lab assistant, a train set, and even a whole extra Mastersizer.

In fact, we had so many ideas, we had to create another Vine. We were also having way too much fun to stop.

Question is, what would you do with that extra space? Keep it clear for a little breathing room?  Make a home for your lab mascot?  An extra accessory or two?  If you’ve already upgraded, how have you filled up your bench – not with dirty glassware we hope! You can let us know via Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, or Google+, or even better, send us a photo.

You don’t just get more space with your Masterizer 3000 though, as great as that is. Paul Kippax, our Mastersizer expert, is running a webinar to tell you about all the other benefits of upgrading your laser diffraction system.  You’ll get more robust and reproducible particle size measurements, and be able to work more efficiently.  Plus, Malvern is on hand to help with method and specification transfer.

So please join us on September  3rd (either at 9.30am or 3.30pm UK time), and if you can’t make it, you can still sign up to receive the recording.

And don’t forget to tell us how you would use your extra space!
