Forging a stronger analytical chain with new FORJ

FORJ Claisse Technology

As any explorer (or Scout leader) will tell you, it’s important to be prepared. After all, the world’s greatest masterpieces are based on preliminary sketches. Jaw-dropping skyscrapers are built on a carefully planned system of foundations. And there’s a reason why top chefs spend more time preparing their ingredients than cooking them.

The same goes for successful elemental analysis: creating a perfect analytical chain depends on optimal sample preparation. Thanks to the latest addition to Malvern Panalytical’s Claisse family, you can take your fusion-based sample prep to the next level.

Meet the all-new FORJ

Working with industry partners and using our expertise in X-ray fluorescence (XRF), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), and atomic absorption (AA) analysis, we’ve developed FORJ™ fusion instrument – making sample preparation faster, more robust, and more accurate than ever.

FORJ is a crucial link in any strong analytical chain, helping you optimize your analysis. Not only is it extremely robust, enabling maximum uptime, but it also enables improved operational efficiency, thanks to its anti-heat loss features and revolutionary tray loader option (which can boost productivity by up to 25%).

Easy to install and compatible with full lab integration, FORJ provides an intuitive user experience, from the placement of crucibles to the mode switching interface. What’s more, full cold-to-cold operation delivers peace of mind when it comes to users’ safety. FORJ models can also be equipped with optional features for added value, including 12-sample reloading for greater productivity and streamlined sample monitoring for enhanced connectivity and tracking.

FORJ can be used to prepare glass disks for XRF analysis, as well as solutions for ICP and AA analysis.
