This webinar will show you how to upgrade your standard analysis of XRR and HR-XRD measurements in AMASS to a customized analysis procedure, in which AMASS is controlled via Python scripts.
We will start by sharing some examples of how AMASS is regularly used in HR-XRD applications, including the analysis of rocking curves, reciprocal space maps, and X-ray reflectivity curves – plus the cross-over between these use-cases. We will also show you how to set up AMASS to make your analysis faster and easier. After this, we will look at what to do if the existing functionality of AMASS does not fully cover the needs of your application. We will demonstrate how to use an interface between AMASS and Python/MATLAB, and also provide a few examples of how a simple Python script can complement AMASS’s capabilities – without any need to code a full analysis, simulation or fitting procedure by yourself. We encourage you to bring your own problems that need customization for the discussion at the end of the webinar!
Whether you have questions about samples or sample prep, setting up an experiment, or performing analysis, feel free to submit them so that we can deliver the information you require. There’s always more to learn, whether it’s setting up your measurements for quick batch processing, gaining confidence in the quality of your results, or presenting your data in the best format.
