Visit us at SCM-8: Symposium on the Separation and Characterization of Macromolecules
Malvern Instruments takes part at the 8th International Symposium on the Separation and Characterization of Natural and Synthetic Macromolecules (SCM-8) at Rhone Events & Congrescenter. The main interest of the conference is the separation and characterization of large molecules. The target audience includes specialists from analytical chemistry, polymer science, and life-science communities.
Malvern is a sponsor of the conference so keep an eye out for us at our booth. In addition, I will give a talk on Thursday February, 2nd about ‘Combining Multi-Detector GPC Measurements with Ultra-High Performance GPC Separations’. The talk will focus on gel permeation/size exclusion chromatography (GPC/SEC) systems, which are able to measure absolute molecular weight, mass, size, concentration and the molecular structure of proteins, polymers and other macromolecules. You will also hear about our new SEC system OMNISEC, ideal instrument for the separation and characterization of large polymer molecules.
Malvern will also exhibit Zetasizer instruments, which apply dynamic light scattering to measure particle size, zeta potential, protein charge and molecular weight, providing critical information about stability or aggregation.
More information about OMNISEC and Zetasizer products can be found on the Malvern website, or find us at the SCM-8 conference to talk about them in person!
