Oilfield chemicals are essential for the recovery of hydrocarbons and include specialist chemicals such as corrosion and scale inhibitors, demulsifiers, chemical tracers, and scavengers as these chemicals are added into the production phase to achieve optimum performance and enhance the effectiveness of the oil recovery.
