Join us at the 17th edition of EPDiC (EPDiC17)

After two postponements caused by the pandemic, we are delighted to announce that Malvern Panalytical is sponsoring the 17th edition of EPDiC (EPDiC17).

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again during the in-person conference at Šibenik – an emerging star of the Croatian Adriatic coast, from May 29th to June 3rd, 2022.

Fabio Masiello, our Group Product Manager – X-ray Diffraction will be hosting 2 sessions on the 1st June at 15:30 and 16:15. At Hall Šibenik II.

We will also have 4 posters which will be revealed during the exhibition:

  • Nano Materials Analysis by Combination of PDF und (U)SAXS
    • Detlef Beckers, Jörg Bolze, Milen Gateshki, Vladimir A. Kogan,
  • Collection of in operando / in situ Lithium-Ion battery data on a laboratory X-Ray diffractometer and their analysis
    • Martin Schreyer, Thomas Degen, Milen Gateshki, Mustapha Sadki, Detlef Beckers
  • In-situ XRD and PDF investigation of MF3.3H2O (M = Fe, Cr) in controlled atmosphere: accessing new phases with controlled chemistry
    • Gwilherm Nénert, Kerstin Forsberg, Claire Colin
  • Unsupervised Learning & Smart Batches to help explore structure solution space: application to the series MF2.4H2O (M = Ni, Zn, Co).
    • Stjepan Prugovecki, Thomas Degen, Gwilherm Nénert, Kerstin Forsberg

Malvern Panalytical will be sponsoring a plenary lecture by Prof Paolo Radaelli, which you also find At Hall Šibenik II.

We are also pleased to announce that the Malvern Panalytical Scientific Award 2022 is now open!

Closing Date: September 30, 2022

We are really excited about being back at an in-person event along with our colleagues a EPDiC.

What is EPDiC

The European Powder Diffraction Conference, EPDiC, is a biennial conference dedicated to all aspects of analyzing polycrystalline materials by diffraction methods. Each EPDiC aims to highlight the latest developments in powder diffraction including methodology, data analysis, and instrumental advances. EPDiCs traditionally brings together scientists from institutes, universities and instrumentation companies to discuss the progress in academic and industrial research related to powder diffraction.

It’s not too late to register if you wish to join us in Sunny Croatia.
