Ask an Expert! returns for an exciting 2023 series
Can you feel it? It seems the fresh air still carries some New Year’s excitement – and with good reason. It’s time to announce the 2023 series of our Ask an Expert! webinar program!
Ask an Expert! has proven very popular over the last two years. We’ve been delighted to see so many students, researchers, and other professionals join us and level up their analytical skills, refine their sample prep, and expand their technical knowledge. It’s always a pleasure to answer your questions – and we can’t wait to get started again in 2023.
Our exclusive guest speakers
This year, we’re excited to welcome some very special guest speakers to the Ask an Expert! series: our shortlisted candidates from the Malvern Panalytical Scientific Award 2022! Their webinars will present their pioneering research in a wide range of fields and will demonstrate the incredible diversity of applications for cutting-edge materials analysis.
Their specialties range from pharmaceutical innovations to more sustainable sources of critical raw materials – all important topics that are very relevant to researchers and to society as a whole. (Of course, that’s why they were our shortlisted candidates!)

In addition to these special guest presentations, we will continue to feature our own Malvern Panalytical scientists who will share their expertise across a variety of analytical methodologies and industries. Most of our experts are also active researchers themselves, giving them practical insight into the everyday challenges of materials analysis.

What can I expect?
Our Ask an Expert! sessions are for anyone with an interest in materials analysis for research, process control or industrial applications. Students are welcome – as are their professors! As analytical techniques and technologies are constantly evolving, there’s always more to learn.
For a sneak peek at some of the topics that will be covered this year, you can take a look at the shortlisted candidates and their paper abstracts here. Grab a pen and paper – you might start thinking of questions you’d like to ask them already.
You can find an overview of all our Ask an Expert! content here, including the archive of past sessions. Many presentations build on earlier webinars, so it can be helpful to check and see if you’ve missed any that might be relevant to an upcoming session.
How can I ask my question?
As always, question submissions will open 10 days before each session. Just email your question(s) to askanexpert@malvernpanalytical.com – it’s as easy as that!
There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the event too, but emailing in advance is the best way to make sure yours gets answered.
