Correctly targeting a drug product’s delivery location and defining its release profile are critical challenges and the subject of a great deal of research. The role of polymers in drug delivery applications is growing, with particular emphasis on targeted controlled-release mechanisms and the development of nanoparticles used to contain or carry drug molecules.
This presentation focuses on the information provided by GPC/SEC about polymers used in drug delivery applications. In the case of polymer conjugates, GPC/SEC can also be used to characterize the end-product; for example, by measuring the amount of drug conjugated to the polymer.
The webinar includes a short overview of GPC/SEC technologies used to make these measurements and covers some key application examples showing the technology’s utility.
