Another step forward in our cooperation with NETZSCH

If the extraordinary events of 2020 have taught us anything, it’s that collaboration and teamwork are the best foundation for success. People, countries, and organizations that work together, complement each other’s skills, and build collaboratively can move forward, overcome challenges, and seize opportunities with greater speed and effectiveness. More than ever, we are better together!

That’s why we, Malvern Panalytical, are pleased to be stepping up our cooperation with NETZSCH Group, an international technology company with headquarters in Selb (Germany), to deliver more value to our customers in the battery manufacturing industry and, more widely, the advanced materials sector. To this end, last month we signed an agreement to extend our cooperation and work constructively to leverage synergies between our organizations.

This agreement with NETZSCH Analyzing & Testing extends our existing cooperation with NETZSCH Grinding & Dispersion – a leading supplier of milling equipment for the production of nanoparticles for advanced materials type applications. Thanks to our common customer-driven culture and our shared ambition to drive forward the advanced materials industries, this initial cooperation has proved to be a win-win for both parties.

And what will the new, extended cooperation involve? Well, above all, we will be looking at how our solutions and expertise can complement each other, in areas such as rheology and particle sizing, for example. Indeed, NETZSCH are leaders in thermal analysis technology – which can often complement our X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis offering. By thinking together and working together, we’re confident that the total is bigger than the sum of its parts.

In practice, we will put in place a joint presence at relevant shows and conferences (after COVID restrictions are lifted, of course!), and cooperate on particular customer demands to deliver tailored solutions. And more broadly, we will work together to communicate on the solutions we offer for the new energy battery market.

As a first step, we are looking forward to our joint webinar on solutions for the battery manufacturing industry on March 11 at 9:30 AM CET. The webinar will involve some insightful talks from experts from both NETZSCH and Malvern Panalytical, as well as practical demonstrations for everyone to enjoy and engage with. And that’s just the start… Together with NETZSCH, we’re looking forward to everything 2021 and beyond will bring!
