Pittcon Short Courses 2021 still open for registration

This year’s Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy (or Pittcon for short) is taking place Online, from March 8 – March 12, 2021. As in previous years, there is a large selection of Pittcon short courses 2021 relevant to attendees. And this year is just a little different: All short courses are now virtual events, taking place online. There are two courses on the program which might catch your interest, especially if you are one of our customers. But also if you are just interested in learning more about our short course topics.

Registration Deadline approaching

The short courses are starting sooner this year. The first event is already before the start of the conference. However, registration is still possible even after that until the conference starts in March 8th. It would be great to see you there, virtually! Topics include light scattering, particle sizing, zeta potential, and chromatography. So this might be ideal to become more familiar with any of these subjects. By the way, this is not instrument-specific, so the techniques and principles rather than specific features of any manufacturers are part of the teaching program. In fact, slides are strictly science and provided in pdf as part of the short course.

Here are two of the short courses involving our Malvern Panalytical scientists, presenting at Pittcon 2021.

SC7771 Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), Nano Tracking Analysis, and Zeta Potential; Characterization of Nano-Materials. By Ana Morfesis, on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. This half-day course was also promoted in a recent Pittcon mailer.

The above links go to more detailed descriptions, and registration is possible through Pittcon directly. Oh, we will also be exhibiting at the conference, online, virtually. So if you do attend any short course this year, please do stop in and visit our virtual booth! And if you were planning to check out a short course, register now – before the courses sell out. You learn something new, and can also feel good about it: Proceeds from the annual Pittcon conference fund education and outreach activities that encourage science for all.
